Flametree Wines
Flametree is one of the most impressive boutique cellar doors within Dunsborough. It is located just off Caves Road, approximately halfway between Busselton and Dunsborough. The walkway entrance is surrounded by stunning flame trees which lead to a beautifully designed Hampton beach house positioned within a picturesque garden and grassed area.
The cellar door is open daily from 10am to 5pm and offers wine tasting along with gourmet make-your-own platters. They welcome children and pets with a spacious lawn for them to play on, while you enjoy their unique range of food and wine.
Flametree has become renowned for its award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay and is well worth a look if you’re taking part in Dunsborough wine tours.
Blind Corner
Blind Corner is located about 9 minutes south-southwest from Dunsborough and only 7 minutes from Flametree. Geared towards the more distinguished wine drinkers, they are one of only six organic certified vineyards within the Margaret River region.
The cellar door has a relaxing rustic atmosphere where you can taste their organic and biodynamic range of wines, while you have a yarn with some of their staff, who have all had a hand in making the wine.
Like your favourite comedian, Blind Corner wines have a wonderfully dry delivery and flavourful punchline that will send your taste buds into the giggles. Their opening times can vary depending on the time of year, so please check with us if they’ll be open during your Dunsborough wine tours.
Palmers Restaurant & Winery
Palmers Restaurant & Winery is also located on Caves Road, only about 6 minutes down the road from Flametree. Established in 1977, it is one of the pioneer vineyards within the Margaret River region. The Tuscan style restaurant is positioned adjacent to the cellar door and separated by a picturesque lake.
The restaurant offers alfresco dining with a stunning view of the lake, surrounding vineyard and rural property. While the cellar door offers affordably priced award-winning wines within classic Tuscan surroundings.
The restaurant at Palmers, in particular, is a good choice if you’re looking for relaxed and unique Dunsborough wine tours.
